This $300+ million "hospital of the future" will combine the existing St. Mary’s Hospital Milwaukee and Columbia campuses into a single, new state-of-the-art hospital/medical campus at the current St. Mary’s Hospital Milwaukee site on Lake Drive.
Some of the phases of construction to see will include the Central Utility Plant which refurbishes the existing power plant to serve a brand-new, 700,000-square-foot hospital. In the 6 level Watertower Medical Commons 165,000sf space there are two linear accelerators, one high-dose radiation room and one CT simulator room. The building contains 1.3 million pounds of Leadite® enclosing the linear accelerator as well as the high-dose radiation rooms.
The existing hospital renovation entails a new lab, temporary loading dock and main lobby, a remodeled imaging department and other finish upgrades.

From North:
- I-43 South to North Avenue Exit
- East on North Avenue to the Hospital
- The Hospital is located on the corner of North Avenue and Lake Drive
- I-94 West/East to I-43 North
- Exit North Avenue
- Follow signs to North Ave & go east
- Go north on Lake Drive to Hospital Entry/North Parking Structure, on left hand side.
Parking:
Use street parking off of North & Lake by Historic Water Tower. Structure is for patients.
