What is AIC The American Institute of Constructors, the AIC, is a national professional organization promoting individual professionalism and excellence throughout the related field of construction. The AIC was formed in 1970, and since then, has grown to 15 Nation-Wide Chapters. In 1994, the AIC branched out, and the Wisconsin Chapter was formed. We are headquartered in Milwaukee, and through monthly events September through June, offer many opportunities and activities to promote the construction industry. Safety Each fall, AIC-WI teams up with the Milwaukee AGC and the Milwaukee Construction Industry Safety Council (MCISC) for our Safety meeting. Awards Every year, the Wisconsin Chapter awards the Constructor of the Year award to an outstanding participant in the Wisconsin construction industry.
