BREW CITY BRUISERS ROLLER GIRLS FAMILY EVENT

Brew City Bruisers

The city of Milwaukee hosts many unconventional sports for all ages and skill levels. Since 2005, the Brewcity Bruisers have competed and entertained at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex as well at Summerfest.

AIC is proud to support and cheer on the Milwaukee rollergirl home teams: Crazy Eights, Maiden Milwaukee, Rushin’ Rollettes, and Shevil Knevils.

AIC members and their family members are invited to join us on:

Saturday, January 16th.
Milwaukee County Sports Complex in Franklin
Doors open at 6:00PM,
First bout starts at 7:00PM

AIC will have their own VIP seating section

Admission cost is complimentary for AIC members and their family members.

Food and drink for all are on your own.

]Tickets will be reserved at the doors for AIC members. Names and children’s ages are necessary for ticket reservations.

  • Take I-94 E/US-41 S toward Chicago
  • Take exit 322, for WI-100/Ryan Rd
  • Keep right at the fork, follow signs for WI-100 E/Ryan Rd W
  • Milwaukee County sign and entrance will be on your righ

THE AGENDA

  • Doors open at 6:00PM
  • First bout (game) is at 7:00PM with
    Crazy Eights versus Shevil Knevils.
  • Intermission
  • Second bout (game) is around 8:30PM
    with Maiden Milwaukee versus
    Rushin’ Rollettes.
  • Event will last until 9:30PM/10:00PM.
  • Feel free to come and go as you
    please.

GAMEPLAY

  • Bouts are played on a flat oval track.
  • Each team has five players on the track
    at one time.
  • There is a Jammer player. This player
    races through the pack and is the only
    player that can score points. This
    player wears a star on their helmet.
  • There is a Pivot player to set the pace
    of the pack. This player wears a stripe
    on their helmet.
  • There are three blockers on each team
    to assist their Jammer player to race
    through the pack to score points while
    also blocking the opposing team’s
    Jammer.
